Industry Note: Azar Nominates HIV Expert to CDC Post

Last week, HHS Secretary Alex Azar named clinical researcher and HIV-expert Dr. Robert R. Redfield to head the CDC. Redfield replaces Dr. Anne Schuchat as "the 18th Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry," noted an HHS release on the hire.
