Industry Note: Primary Care First SIP Model Application Period Is Underway

If you’re interested in participating in Medicare’s forthcoming Primary Care First Model’s Seriously Ill Population (SIP) option, the Request for Applications (RFA) window is now open. After announcing the payment model earlier this year (see Medicare Compliance & Reimbursement, Vol. 45, No. 10), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued the RFA document and set the application window to run from Oct. 24 to Jan. 22, according to the model’s website.
