Industry Notes: Don't Forget to Switch Out Your ABN Form
Tip: Watch the expiration dates.
If you haven’t swapped out the old form for the new and improved, it’s time to revisit the update. The new version of the form took effect June 21, CMS says on its ABN website. “While there are no changes to the form itself, providers should take note of the newly incorporated expiration date on the form,” CMS says.
