Industry Notes: Post COVID-19 Testing Prices Upfront
If your organization has COVID-19 testing capabilities, the cash price of the diagnostic test must be readily available online for perusal.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reminds providers in a CARES Act Frequently Asked Questions set that price transparency on COVID-19 testing is required under the regulation with a start date of March 27 through the end of the public health emergency (PHE).
