Times are tight for the federal government, and that will affect providers of all stripes.If Congress gets serious about implementing President Bush's promise to cut the deficit in half, Medicare and Medicaid are in line for some serious cuts.That was the message delivered by congressional staffers at a recent forum sponsored by the Alliance for Health Reform and the Kaiser Family Foundation.
