Physicians' summer won't be as bleak as feared. Physicians won't have to cough up overpayments arising from the delayed implementation of the 2003 Medicare physician fee schedule after all. July was looking to be a tricky cash flow month for physicians, since the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services had planned to require carriers to collect overpayments relating to certain claims for services provided in January and February of this year.
