The rules haven't changed for non-chemotherapy drug injection codes 90782-90788 -- if you bill 99211 on the same day as one of those codes, Medicare will pay the E/M visit but not the injection, says the American Society for Clinical Oncology. But the new work value associated with drug administration codes hasn't added to physicians' documentation requirements, ASCO notes.
