Our article "Prevent Uni-Bi Reporting Errors With This Expert Insight" in the Insider, Vol. 10 Number 13, indicated that you should report two units of 92135-50 (Scanning computerized ophthalmic diagnostic imaging, posterior segment; bilateral procedure) when the physician performs this service on both eyes. The correct way to report this procedure is to report just one unit of 92135-50. Thanks to Lexa Peterson with Illinois Eye Center for pointing out the error.
