Coders and therapists may not like hearing about therapy caps, but they know it’s a necessary evil to be aware of the annual cap so they are aware of when patients are about to exceed theirs. Last week, CMS released the latest therapy caps, and they have been updated slightly. According to MLN Matters article MM8970, for physical therapy and speech-language pathology combined, the therapy cap for 2015 will be $1,940.
