Physician Note: Submit Your MIPS 2018 Data Before It’s Too Late

If you haven’t submitted your Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) data for performance year (PY) 2018, there’s still time. But, beware — the deadline is fast approaching. The PY 2018 MIPS submission window close on April 2, 2019 at 8 p.m. EST, according to Quality Payment Program (QPP) guidance. Tip: After reviewing your PY 2018 data submission, MIPS clinicians can expect “feedback” by July 1, 2019 to “improve your care and optimize the payments you receive from CMS,” explains the agency.
