Height is the distance from the top of the participant's head to the heels of his or her feet (i.e., the vertical length). This self-reported measure asks about current height at 25 years of age. Stature is an indicator of general body size and of bone length. This measure can also serve as a proxy for nutritional status. It is used to assess stature and estimate height loss in older adults (ages 50 years and older).
