Weight is measured using a digital floor scale. The instrument should be calibrated daily using standardized weights, and a log of calibration results should be maintained. For reliability, the measurements are taken in duplicate. A third measurement should be taken if the first two measurements differ by >200 grams or 0.25 pounds. If it is necessary to take a third measurement, the two closest measurements are averaged. Should the third measurement fall equally between the first two measurements, all three should be averaged. Measured weight is recommended, and self-reported weight should only be recorded as a last resort.* Please indicate how the weight was collected (i.e., measured vs. self-reported). In instances where both self-reported and measured weight are collected, collect the self-reported weight first before measuring weight. *NOTE: Self-reported weight values are considered to be less accurate. Self-reported weight is subject to error and is used when measured weight cannot be obtained.

Pt = Point in time: To identify measures at a point in time. This is a synonym for “spot” or “random” as applied to urine measurements.
LOINC codes that represent optional associated observation(s) for a clinical observation or laboratory test. A LOINC term may represent a single associated observation or panel containing several associated observations.
Updated the PhenX ID from "PhenX." to "PX" in Survey Question Source field to align with the variable identifier used in the PhenX Toolkit.; Added the PhenX protocol ID to the Component to clearly define the protocol version for which this panel is based upon.
