namePhenX - household roster-relationships protocol 011401
descriptionThe respondent is asked to count all the people who currently live in the household. Then beginning with him/herself, the respondent is systematically asked about the relationship of each person to him/her. Household roster questions are about the people who live in the household rather than the individual respondent and as a result they need to be addressed to the head/elders of the household. Household roster questions should precede annual household income questions. The two sets of questions are linked and should be part of the same questionnaire.
