descriptionHigh and low risk, based on country classification, populations use systolic blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking status, gender and age. The Quick Check can be performed at home and for a population 20-75 years. It is designed for use by physicians in a clinical practice and estimates total cardiovascular risk rather than risk of coronary heart disease. This SCORE model has been calibrated according to each European country's mortality statistics. Numerical scores are correlated with risk percentages.
