Bordetella pertussis+bronchiseptica+holmesii IS481 DNA [Cycle Threshold #] in Specimen by NAA with probe detection   85799-5

LOINC Code

LOINC code85799-5
nameBordetella pertussis+bronchiseptica+holmesii IS481 DNA [Cycle Threshold #] in Specimen by NAA with probe detection
descriptionThe quantitative (Ct) value of the IS481 insertional element DNA sequence of the Bordetella pertussis and B. holmesii genomes detected in clinical specimens or culture isolates. B. bronchiseptica may also be detected in this assay but is primarily an animal pathogen and rarely found in humans. This assay does not differentiate between the Bordetella species. This term was created for, but not limited in use to, the Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory Network's (ARLN) multiplex real-time PCR assay.

propertyThreshNum  =  Threshold Number
timePt  =  Point in time:  To identify measures at a point in time. This is a synonym for “spot” or “random” as applied to urine measurements.

scaleQn  =  Quantitative:  The result of the test is a numeric value that relates to a continuous numeric scale. Reported either as an integer, a ratio, a real number, or a range. The test result value may optionally contain a relational operator from the set {<=, <, >, >=}. Valid values for a quantitative test are of the form "7", "-7", "7.4", "-7.4", "7.8912", "0.125", "<10", "<10.15", ">12000", 1-10, 1:256
