descriptionThis panel contains the results for the detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) complex rifampicin (RIF) and isoniazid (INH) resistance in isolates or direct clinical specimens by molecular testing. The assay detects resistance-conferring mutations in native genes, including rpoB (rifampicin), katG (isoniazid) and inhA (isoniazid). The presence or absence of various mutations is used to predict resistance, including low or high-level resistance, to these drugs.
