descriptionThis panel is used to report a donor's predicted blood group antigen profile. Results are based on DNA analysis of specific variants associated with each phenotype. This panel was created for, but not limited in use to, the Immucor Precise Type HEA Molecular BeadChip Test Kit, which is intended for the determination of allelic variants that predict erythrocyte antigen phenotypes across different blood group systems as well as the hemoglobin S mutation in the beta globin gene.
