 2014 Conversion Factor: 35.8228December 31, 2013
Frank Cohen's 2014 RBRVS Impact AnalysisI have updated my analysis of the 2014 RBRVS and its impact on Medicare payments using the latest published conversion factor (CF), which will be 35.8228 for the start of 2014. Even with this increase in the CF, I estimate that physicians will receive nearly one billion dollars less from Medicare, due to the overall reduction in RVU values.
