New ICD-10-CM Codes: X60-X69 Paranormal Encounters

Although most of the ICD-10-CM code set has been frozen until after implementation, there have been some minor updates, deletions and additions.

Find-A-Code has discovered one set of codes that are not getting much attention.  The codes are in a new section added to Chapter 20. External Causes of Morbidity: Paranormal Encounters (X60-X69).

Make sure you and your staff are familiar with these new codes as you train, practice and prepare for the scheduled ICD-10 implemenation on October 1st, 2015.
